The cost of rental housing in the UK has grown by 1.2% over the past 12 months, writes Property Wire.
In metropolitan London, rents increased by 1.5% in 12 months.

However, since the end of 2018, rental rates have begun to grow, due to increased attention to London.
Between January 2015 and August 2019, rents in the UK increased by 7.9%.
